When playing with eyeshadow shades it’s best to use a few different brushes, so colors stay true and don’t get muddied—i.e. don’t dip your makeup brush into dark shadow then immediately use it on pale shadows. Clean your brush in between shades with a clean, dry tissue. Blow away any errant powder in the palette and keep it clean with Q tips, cotton balls and a little daily maintenance.
